Dücker conveyor systems continues on its innovative road to success

This year's FEFCO Technical Seminar under the motto "Towards intelligent manufacturing - The digitalization of the corrugated industry" took place from 20 - 22 October 2021 in Copenhagen.

In 2019, Dücker was already awarded the Health and Safety Award for the invention of the Certified Muting Application (CMA) and was again able to convince with innovative ideas this year.

There were several highlights at this year's fair: in addition to 3 outstanding spotlight presentations, an award and a distinction could be brought back to the Langenfeld home.

The first presentation was given by Vincent Tromson (Dücker International) on "Peripherals for e-commerce". As a growing trend, e-commerce should be supported by innovative machines. The Dücker companies already offer various solutions for this area. Furthermore, Ilmay Karamanlar (Dücker conveyor systems) convinced with his presentation of the latest product "Automatic Truck Loading System (ATLS)", with which a solution for the fully automatic loading of trucks in less than 5 minutes can be offered in the future.

SEEMI, the French company has been part of Dücker since 2020, was represented at the Dücker stand for the first time. Pauline Vigneras (SEEMI) presented the third Spotlight on "How to replace the handling system of a factory without stopping the production". She explained how SEEMI helps customers to modify, replace or upgrade the existing handling system without stopping production.

For the first presentation of automated truck loading, Dücker was awarded the Gold Innovation Award. Together with Schumacher Packaging GmbH, the first prototype has already been installed and the solution-oriented company has proven that this concept works. At Schumacher, the first industrial prototype is also installed after prior testing in our company, which is being further developed during ongoing production.

Fittingly for his 50th anniversary in management, Peter Dücker was also presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award, for his services to the corrugated industry. The award was presented by the Technical Committee for commitment to the development of leading-edge solutions over many decades. The next generation, consisting of Julia Dücker and Markus Dücker, is also already active in the company management.
