Vocational training as IT specialist for application development
Before my vocational training, I already got to know Dücker within the frame of both an internship and a summer job. Above all, I appreciate the excellent working atmosphere I enjoyed during my vocational training. We all help each other. As IT specialist at Dücker, I also find it exciting that you create software for the development and production of machines. I could even see this directly with customers' premises. Here with Dücker I am challenged. I feel my technical experience appreciated. I am able introducing both my own ideas and my creativity.

Mechanical design M-CAD
I started with Dücker in 2004 and immediately had the feeling of belonging. At that time I had just completed my vocational training as industrial mechanic. At the Technical College I was able participating in a qualification course as technician and return to Dücker, then. This gave me self assurance. Here, you are really perceived as a person, not as a "number" in a system of the company. My work is recognized and I experience the We-feeling.

Deputy sales manager
I have been employed with Dücker since 1984. I started in the design department, then I worked as service engineer, I operated in departments such as despatch and export, and finally I am doing my job in the sales department, whose member I have been for 20 years now. I always have direct contact with the management, which has always supported me. I appreciate both that support and the good working atmosphere in our helpful team. Everybody contributes to the success of the company.

Head of department of project managers
In 1986, I was thrown in at the deep end, but all my colleagues excellently supported me. Initially, as electrician, I had been working all over the world, then I took over the management of the department of electrical design and since 2016 I have been holding my current position. "Learning by doing" has always been my guideline. The doors have been opened for me. As family-run business, Dücker has always lent an open ear for employees and offered real opportunities for career. I took fully advantage of them.

Electric design
My first days at Dücker were, already from the beginning, very enjoyable. I have been warmly and cordially received by all colleagues. I started as electrician in the electric workshop and participated in qualification courses. Dücker exempted me for seminars and courses while reserving my workplace. Altogether, the atmosphere here is very pleasant. We support each other, not only in our own department but also across departments.

Designer ECAD department
I started my vocational training as electronics technician for automation technology with Dücker in 2003. After having been a skilled worker for one year, I attended evening classes to qualify as technician. The company fully supported this development. I particularly appreciate the helpful environment. I could not have wished for anything better. We all help each other wherever we can. We feel like being in a big family.

Project manager
I have been employed with Dücker since 2001. I completed here my vocational training as energy electronic technician for systems engineering and then I qualified as technician. During this time, Dücker exempted me to fully concentrate myself on the qualification. Today I am a project manager and can share out my experience. What I particularly appreciate is the variety of tasks in tis position. You always learn to handle new tasks and challenges.

Project manager
As a project manager, I plan and manage projects in Germany and abroad. Furthermore, as specialist for safety at work I manage the occupational safety and health with Dücker. My professional career began with a vocational training as shop mechanic (today industrial mechanic, specialized in operating technology) at the Mannesmann-Röhrenwerke. After professional training as state-certified technician specialised in engineering, I joined the Dücker company. I have been here for 25 years now. I find it exciting to see or accompany the product from the development, through manufacture to the finished system installed with the customer. The versatility of my work as well as the chances and opportunities for personal development are imperative to me.

Service employee
After completing my apprenticeship as office communication clerk at the Deutsche Bundesbank in Düsseldorf in 2011, I joined Dücker in the same year. My colleagues in the secretary's office and export department familiarized me very well with this job so that I was able working independently after a short time only. My actual responsibilities include the organisation of service assignments, all administrative work in the service field and the sale of spare parts. The large scale of tasks makes my job very varied, which I find very interesting. I appreciative very much the personal freedom that allows me working independently for the most part. There is room left for initiative, too.
